Baptism is God's gracious gift to us. It is important that we honor this gift by its proper acceptance and use. Most of the information you will need to begin preparing for Baptism at Bethlehem may be found here.

Instruction in Christian education and life are assumed to be part of preparation for Baptism.
+ For adults and older children (12 and older) preparing for Baptism, instruction is done prior to Baptism, through conversations with the pastor, new member classes, etc.
+ For children (11 and younger) preparing for Baptism, instruction is done following Baptism by parents in the home and through the church.

1. If you are interested in Baptism, please first download and take a look at our Baptism preparation workbook.

2. Once you have read this workbook and agree desire to schedule a Baptism, please call the church office (419-287-4182) to make sure the date you desire is available.

3. Fill out the Baptism application and submit it to the church office as soon as possible. Pastor Matt will contact you to discuss the possibility of Baptism.

3. Begin to work through the Baptism preparation workbook in preparation for your first meeting with the pastor.
